Deborah Swanson operates Swanson Financial Strategies. With over 25 years of experience in finance and planning, she has seen the increasingly complex questions her clients face in making decisions to successfully navigate personal finance. Deborah’s focus on comprehensive planning, service and education continue to enable clients to manage their personal and business financial concerns with confidence.
Upon graduation from Texas A&M University, Deborah was recruited by IBM Corporation and worked as a Business Analyst. In 1995 she joined Southwest Business Corporation as a Customer Training Manager. While at SWBC she designed and delivered training for insurance and financial service offerings to clients across the United States. Deborah was highly successful at increasing the effectiveness of her clients through the programs she implemented while at SWBC. She left the corporate arena to develop her own business working with individuals and business owners in 1997. Deborah earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2005 and is dedicated to quality, ethical and customized advice and service.
Deborah is very proud to be the mother to Christopher Swanson, currently serving in the U.S. Airforce, and Anna Swanson a Project Manager with Dell Corporation. She is an active volunteer in her church and local community and has a special passion for animal rescue.
